A lot of the work was based around updating and uploading content on a more advanced level (using HTML and JS that was outside of my client's understanding) as well as general bug fixes that may be required; some of this was making tweaks to the layout for new images or fixing the site when it went offline for multiple reasons (a broken update, server issue, etc.).
On a few occasions, I acted as a consultant to advise on what the best course of action would be regarding new content and features, the cost of development, and the best ways to move the site forward in development cycles and maintenance.
In summary, the work I carried out was to provide more clear and concise information to the visitors, and to keep the responsiveness and adaptability relevant to the latest technology.
